The Middle East area is quite confusing for many of us because it includes countries of more than one continent. The continents are Asia, Europe, and Africa. There is a difference in opinions of geographers on which countries should be included in the Middle East region.

In general, the following countries are included in the Middle East. Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, Libya, etc.

The term "Middle East" originated from the European people they used to narrate the region around India "the Far East." Thus the countries located in the transcontinental area between Western Asia and Egypt are called the middle east countries.

1. The atmosphere is hot and dry. This locale is an antiquated one. Huge numbers of the world's religions started here, including Islam, Christianity, and Judaism.

2. The majority of the individuals in the Middle East have faith in the Muslim religion. They are known to follow strict rules. 

3. The Middle East generally has a hot and dry climate.  Iraq, Iran, and Turkey are cool and wet during winter. The rest of the countriesremain hot. The temperature can be 50 degrees Celsius.

4. The Middle East contains, the greater part of the world's crude oil or petroleum and natural gas. That made many of the Middle East countries very rich. Qatar, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates (UAE), etc. are counted among one of the richest countries in the world.
